ORCHESTRAOur Orchestra program is open to all interested Micheltorena students in grades 3-5. Instruction will be provided by LAUSD’s Arts Education Branch, and available instruments include Violin, Cello, Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet and Trombone. Instruments are provided free of charge for all participants.

LA OPERAWe are so grateful for our ongoing arts partnerships here in Los Angeles! Each year our 4th graders partner with the LA Opera to perform on campus - this past year they performed The Prospector (an adaptation of Puccini’s The Girl of the Golden West).

YOUNG STORYTELLERSYoung Storytellers partners with our fifth graders to help them develop scripts, which are then performed by adult actors live on stage at Micheltorena!
